Combi Boiler Installation
Combi Boiler Installation
Combi boiler installation in Barnet and across North London — one compact unit for heating and instant hot water, with no cylinder and no loft tanks.
Combi Boiler Installation in North London, done properly the first time
A combi suits the majority of Barnet homes: the Victorian and Edwardian terraces around New Barnet, the 1930s semis in EN4 and the purpose-built flats in Whetstone and N20 all tend to have one or one-and-a-half bathrooms, which is exactly what a combi handles well.
The important part is sizing. A combi that is too small gives disappointing showers; one that is too large short-cycles and wastes gas. We calculate from your incoming mains flow rate and your actual hot water demand, not from a rule of thumb.
We fit combis from every major UK brand, register the manufacturer warranty on your behalf and leave you with a magnetic filter, correct gas pipe sizing and a properly routed condensate — the three things that cause most avoidable breakdowns later.

Your questions, answered
Is a combi boiler right for my Barnet home?
Usually yes for one to one-and-a-half bathrooms with decent mains pressure. If you have two or more bathrooms in regular simultaneous use, a system boiler and cylinder is often the better answer, and we will say so.
How long does a combi installation take?
A straight combi-for-combi swap is normally a single day. A conversion from a regular boiler and cylinder is typically two days because tanks and cylinder come out and pipework is reworked.
What will it cost?
It depends on the boiler chosen, your existing pipework, gas supply sizing, flue route and access. We give a fixed written price after a survey rather than a figure over the phone that changes later.
Are your combi boiler installation engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes — every engineer working on combi boiler installation in North London is Gas Safe registered, manufacturer-trained and fully insured to £5m public liability. We'll show our ID on arrival.
